chapter 3.He shuddered and fiddled with the knobs in the shower, desperate to find an in between of murderously hot and ice cold. Pressed back against the wall. Standing on his heels. Heavy sigh. Plumbing wasn't going to be perfect, especially when all of society had dwindled down to roughly a couple of dozen heads. Sure, most of them were smart, but it wasn't going to be without flaw or like it was before the game. He was grateful enough that the trolls offered to help, especially when it wasn't even their culture they were trying to help repair.

chapter 2Everyone had been, at this point, separated into groups in which their skills were best utilized. Kanaya and Rose collaborated on clothes, Jade and Nepeta were neighborhood food runners, and Equius demanded total operation of the home repair services.

chapter 1The earth was nothing less than a spinning heap of dust and rubble. Once cozy homes were reduced to bleak, rotting wooden structures from which white paint peeled, and neighborhoods were enshrouded by heavy rain filled clouds. It was permeated by a sense of constant impending doom. And yet, the remaining trolls and humans settled in comfortably without complaint or mention of the grief stricken planet.
